I think you misinterpret what I said. I don't think it is personal preference to believe that there are some things that are best left to the legislature. I'm saying that there's a reason robots don't make the laws, and that I'd rather have the legislature, which the "losers" also elected - unless they didn't bother to vote - take control of very important issues, which is what they have done in this case, rather than leaving it to the people who, again, rarely manage to bother to vote. I know we can't make voting mandatory, but the tiny proportion that actually gets out there scares me. If it was really everyone, I might feel differently, I don't know.
