We were at a friend's birthday party late Sunday night after my parents went off to sleep.  The friend asked what I do, as he knows I am looking for work; did I want to start a business, which I am pretty sure was mostly a joke.  I said, "I do...stuff."

He hands me his business card which says "Media and Stuff."

Hee.

Anyway. Public service announcement time. Jobseekers of Toronto: U of T has changed their whole job application system and now they are using a post-your-profile thingy that is done with the same software Alliance Atlantis uses, only they don't make you enter all work experience separately; you can upload your resume in a file or copy and paste.

Tonight Joey and I will go to dinner with his best man and his wife, who was also in our bridal party.  They are lovely and hilarious and I expect to do a lot of laughing.  Last night at karaoke (after DemoCamp, which I actually attended in part) I sang the theme song to "Fame," which was excellent.  I seriously have no desire to live forever, but I was entirely obsessed with the TV show as a kid (so much so that I did the whole Debbie Allen spoken bit in the middle of the song), and am old enough now to see how brilliant the original movie really is, though it is boring to a suburban drama kid.
