I've landed a short-term position with a private company.  For most of the month of August - unless I am hired away, about which they are flexible - I'll be helping them out with some interim work.  It'll keep my brain occupied and I'll make a bit of money while still looking for the right permanent job.

Sweet!  I start after Monday's civic holiday, which is also after Dave's visit.
