Maria and I didn't go to the zoo - there were thunderstorms.  Instead, the Science Centre, which was fine, but there were thousands - thousands! - of pipsqueaks running around.  So we spent a couple of hours there, saw most of the stuff, and ran off to my favorite hidden jewel restaurant for delicious sandwiches that required forks and a glass of wine apiece.
