I get trackback spam.

And hits, actually.  I get an average of around 700 hits a day.  I find that a miraculous number considering I gave up blogging for approximately a year.  If I linked to people more often, I'd get more hits.  If I commented more, I'd get more hits.  I know all the tricks.  But I'm still settling back in.

Plus, in a non-blogging moment, our evenings and weekends are incredibly busy right now.  I had to turn down two invitations for things to do on Tuesday evening because I have book club.  We're discussing a book I liked, and we only meet every six weeks or so, so I'm not really willing to skip it unless I am traveling or something.

Now that I have my Ontario driver's license, there's really only one more line to stand in - and that's for my OHIP card.  I'm not eligible quite yet though.  A couple more weeks.  I'm starting to feel quite Canadian.

On that note though, this morning I was accused by a dimwit of spending too much time with patriotic Americans.  I got pissed.  I am a patriotic American.  Don't assume that just because I live in Canada I don't love my native country.  I definitely do not love what is happening there right now, but being angry makes me a better patriot.  America is not the administration.
